A little history about Ann Marie Walts would include that she wanted to be a hairstylist since she was about 8 years old.
“What do you want to be when you grow up?….the famous question!
Fast forward to today, and now she has been providing everthing having to do with style, haircolor,extensions,and makeovers
for the last 15 years.
Some of her professional successes include owning a salon, having her work published in a variety of mediums, and providing haircolor education to the head wig designer’s at Saturday Night Live.
The last 5 of those years have been and are spent with Redken.
(Which has been like an accelerated college for hair & business!)
She is a Redken Artist & Certified Redken Colorist.
Working with Redken, has had her busy working behind many stages at hairshows!
You may find her behind the stage or in the model room helping to get the models ready for the show.
Getting the models ready takes a whole team of very talented artists/stylitsts, makeup artist & wardrobe.

When she is not behind a stage, or behind her chair at her salon you will find her behind……………the lense of her Canon 5D, 12.8megapixel camera!

There are two things that run through her veins: HAIR & PHOTOGRAPHY!!!
The two industries are so intertwined.
CREATIVE!!!!
Her journey with photography started after a trip to Ireland, and a friend had suggested that maybe she should check out taking a class. The rest is history, and kind of a long story.
To shorten the story, you never really do know what a day will bring.

One thing led to another, until the day she step foot into Steinmetz Photography Studio, and then things would never be the same….Walt Steinmetz has been shooting for……(we won’t say how long.) He gave her a shot and shared his knowledge and time.That led to Ann Marie wearing the big camera, in the photo above.
Passionate about the beauty industry, capturing memories,sharing education that was shared with her is what Ann Marie Walts is ABOUT.
